Make It Easy…Make It Simple

Too many businesses make it difficult for the customer to understand their offerings, much less buy them.

There is a new (and more effective) player in town…simplicity!

Those charged with customer care training need to pay attention. If there are too many complications or barriers between your product/service and your customers, they will leave. Think from your own perspective as a consumer, how much patience do you have for unnecessarily complex products or too many layers between initial interest and final purchase? Most of us tend toward products that are easily understood and easily bought. If there are too many choices, customers are apt to lose patience and go elsewhere.

Have you ever watched a TV commercial where you couldn’t figure out what they were trying to push? What a waste! Try simplifying your offerings. Strip them down to the essential ingredients that customers care about. Offer plain packaging, straightforward messaging and no unwanted frills. Then watch your sales increase.
